The Big Rewind @ The End
I had been waiting for this one for a long time and had not been out in a while.
Got to The End at 11.00 and was pleasantly surprised about the queuing time.
First impressions was that it wasn’t to busy but the moment I stepped down
the stairs I could feel the vibes.

I went to the bar to get a drink and the second room was packed and a lot of people
were dancing with Shinobi on the decks playing some old skool hip hop. I got my JD
and coke and headed straight for the main arena where Simon 'Bassline' Smith had
just stepped up with MC Moose. And what a start to the night it was.

The next to step up was Kenny Ken and then Friction Both with MC GQ. Both smashed
the dancefloor to pieces and the main room was starting to get busy with typical oldskool
vibes. I hadn't felt vibes like this since being back in Astoria.

It was now 2 o’clock and everyone was feeling the vibes and the drinks, just as I thought
the night couldn’t get any better Brockie did his thing with mc Fearless and it was heavy.
Half way through the set I saw Dett enter the room who I hadn’t seen on the flyer and he
was mcing here and there in his true jungle style, the vibes were big.

Next to step up was Nicky Blackmarket who kept it rolling but I expected a bit more
everyone was definetly in the mood though and MC Fearless was on point. By this
time my legs were tired as I was non stop raving the whole night
but I wouldn’t let it stop me.

At 4 kool fm’s very own Funky Flirt stepped up and he delivered well, the vibes at this point
were jungles best and IC3 was on the mic going on sick. At the end of Flirts set I had to call
it a night and all the way to the bus stop I was contemplating going back for the last hour.

All in all it was a sick night, with lots of vibes and nice girls. Heard room 2 was good all night
although garage isn’t really my thing. I am definetly going to the next one.
