23rd Oct - Fizzy Wednesday 1st birthday 18th october @ Marsque Bar Kings Cross London
Last night’s fizzy was absolutely OFF THE HOOK!!!! It was full, lively and bubbling right from the start till the end and the good time vibes were in abundance!
DJ Dimensions started things off in classic fizzy warmup style with a bit of hip hop, followed by some garage, grime and breaks, then Izzy stepped up to go b2b with Dimensions when the dnb started! As soon as she dropped pusherman the whole place went ballistic and the birthday party was in full effect! Big ups to Cliché for stepping up and warmin up the shizzle pon the mic for the last half hour before Blackmarket! Hosted it up proper well and got everyone making some noise!
Party hats, streamers, balloons, silly string and bubbles galore (mostly courtesy of Mog!)
got everyone in a wicked mood and the booze was FLOWING!!
Nicky Blackmarket stepped up at 11 and the vibes were just too much! By this time the place was absolutely RAMMO and myself, MC Keeno and MC Rinsa were really vibesin to this BIG, BIG set! Nicky dropped some absolute bombs and the whole crowd got skankin! Big ups to all o’dem right at the front winding down for this one, YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!
Caspar followed on from Nicky BM with a smooth rollin, vibsin set joined by special guest MC Lowqui and resident MC V-double-E! Playing a mixture of deep bassy liquid and jump up this set tore off the roof! V-double and Lowqui made a wicked b2b combo and together with the mixing and selection Caspar provided they really kept the place rockin till 1 when the FizzyLiquid originator
the one and only Mr Joseph stepped up!
Mr J smashed it all over the place with some fizzy classics and some HUGE jump up tunes then took it down deep for the last couple! The amount of noise when Mr J took the mic and gave it the classic, “Its all fizzy baby!” really was a measure of just how much FizzyLiquid has grown and thrived over the past year! At 2 the tunes got locked off, but the crowd weren’t going anywhere! Shouts of ‘1 more’ went on for a good 5 minutes, closely followed by a chorus of happy birthday
and another drink meaning we didn’t even leave till gone half 2!
Special shout outs to each and every person that attended, regulars and new faces
making this party what it was, BIG!

Big ups to my mrs, I think she defo gets the ‘most drunk’ award
followed by Cheeky in a very close second!
Nuff respect to all the DJ’s and MC’s who absolutely smashed it all night!
