After an extended summer break, DJ Marky returns to London’s famous fabric nightclub fully recharged and ready for an extra special edition of DJ Marky & Friends.

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 17th – FABRIC: 77a Charterhouse Street, London, EC1M 6HJ
ROOM 1:
DJ MARKY
THE NEXTMEN & MC WREC
COMMIX
WRONGTOM
MCs: GQ & SP:MC

September sees The Nextmen (performing with the highly talented MC Wrec) join the ranks of illustrious guests DJ Marky has invited to play at fabric and for good reason. Unless you’ve been captive in Guantanamo Bay for the last decade, we’ll wager you’ve definitely heard of them and more than likely witnessed them at one of their many festival-stopping summer performances or heard their incendiary mixtapes on the neighbourhood ghetto blaster. Also appearing in the main room is another fantastic duo to be borne of the flourishing Cambridge music scene, Commix. Having provided some of the deepest tracks in recent years such as “How You Gonna Feel” and on the eve of their ‘Re-Call To Mind’ remix project, Commix are an incredibly welcome addition to the lineup. Also featuring on the bill are crowd favourite WrongTom –whosefresh from reworkingRoots Manuva’s back catalogue on the forthcoming ‘Duppy Writer’ for Big Dada - and MCs GQ and SP:MC.

Last, but by no means least is DJ Marky! His last few months have been spent working hard in the studio and reaching out to the global community of fans in Asia and Australia. So, for this very special event, DJ Marky returns with a trademark extended set and a box full of dubs. Expect some hard and heavy beats, fused with deep and soulful harmonies, mashed together with insane scratching skills and a dash of Brazilian flair.
