All podcasts will be free. We’ll be aiming to do 1 per month or so, from a variety of artists, encompassing drum & bass, dubstep & breakbeat. Might even do a dub/reggae special. Episode 1 is out now, featuring Deficit

GRINteck is the drum and bass/dubstep alias of (25/7), a talented DJ & producer from Holland. The main focus is to create a multimedia experience, both live and in the studio, within the realms of dnb & dubstep. Live performances include analogue & digital decks and analog instruments. Expect intelligent but intense productions and sets with plenty of tech attitude

Although AutomAte podcast 004 has been advertised all over the web as released since Thursday, some of you may have found that it is not available on the iTunes store as promised.

This is the first episode we've released since we were accepted into the iTunes store and I had a feed issue that meant the new ep was not accepted by the store. Long story short - i've fixed it and it's now available from the iTunes store. GO GET IT

Peak has been writing hard dance music under the name Ephexis for over 10 years & also produces psy under the name Atomic Species. He & partner-in-crime RMS fused their styles and gave birth to a hard-tripping melt of chunky breakbeats, acidic twisted elements and dark psychedelic undertones. After a number of successful gigs, 'RMS & Peak' established themselves as a credible breakbeat act. They now go from strength to strength, playing festivals and performing full multi-media live shows as well as releasing through Broken Robot Recordings.

Hey all, the xmas podcast disappeared off the face of the planet an hour or 2 after I told the whole world it was available. This is because I realised I'd made an error in the ID3 tags and given wrong track details for a couple of tunes in the track list. So I amended the mistakes, then had to re-upload & republish the episode. It's all good now tho so if you tried last night and couldn't get hold of, give it another crack. You shan't be disappointed

It's been a fantastic first year for AutomAte and I wanna say thanks to everyone who's supported, including everyone who's downloaded or subscribed to the podcast, listened or contributed to our radio shows and helped promote us A lot has been happening behind the scenes we're working hard to make 2011 an absolute stormer!

Firstly, we've multiplied. In addition to Deficit & Tracksuit Mafia, we welcome Esion (Subtek Records / Malfunction) as a resident DJ, promoter and producer.

Secondly, we will proudly launch our live events in 2011, kicking off on Friday 11th March at Basement 45, Bristol with Raiden, Meth, EBK & KR4Y supported by the AutomAte residents.
